First Crown Affair Brush Purchase -Treating myself to beautiful locks

Upon receipt I began using the the No 001 brush in the evening prior to sleep time. The routine has been calming (only 4 days in) and the bristles flow through my shoulder length hair smoothing seamlessly. I am hoping the brush will provide the benefits touted by the advertisements and ratings.

Two things: 1) The price tag is high for a hair tool that needs some time for the value to be appreciated. ( I did mention this a "treat to myself" purchase. 2) I found the length of the handle at 3 1/2 inches short to get a comfortable grasp.
